Empowering Your Educational Journey
‘Welcome to our nursery, where giggles are the soundtrack and imagination runs wild!’ We specialize in turning tiny tots into adventurers, artists, and future geniuses—all while having heaps of fun. Our team of super-friendly grown-ups (aka staff) are like wizards who magically blend learning and laughter.
From storytelling sessions that bring dragons to life, to messy crafts where little hands create masterpieces, every day is an adventure. Our outdoor play area is like a jungle gym paradise, where mini explorers climb, slide, and conquer new challenges.
We don’t just grow little minds, we grow big hearts too—with kindness, friendships, and teamwork as our top priorities. Here, children don’t just bloom—they sparkle like the stars they are!"

Understanding Applications for Working Entitlement –
Step 1 – Parent applies for a code Applying for Working Entitlement
• Parents can ascertain whether they are eligible for working entitlement via www.childcarechoices.gov.uk
• The parent must apply for working entitlement themselves
• Foster carers must apply for their code for working entitlement for foster children by emailing earlyeducation@birmingham.gov.uk
• The application process requires the parent to open an online childcare service account
• When the parent is issued with the code, the letter they receive will inform them when they can access their free childcare place (also see Step 4). The letter will be in their online account in the ‘Secure Messages’ section and will state: “You can access your funded hours from the term following the date of this message, or the term after your child turns 9months / 2 years or 3 years, whichever is latest.”
• Parents will look for a childcare place once they know they are eligible • Be very clear about the details of the funded place you have available
• Be very clear about any additional charges for consumables • You will need to tell the parents that for the purpose of age and code eligibility for EEE funding, the terms start as detailed below: 1st January – Spring Term 1st April – Summer Term 1st September – Autumn Term
• Children can split their entitlement across more than one setting over a maximum of two sites in one day.
• Children who have been admitted to school and are attending a state- funded school reception class or an independent school reception class which is funded by the local authority are not entitled to any additional free hours outside their school reception class place.
• The parent may use their childcare service account to apply for Tax-Free Childcare as well as working entitlement. Parents will have to maintain both accounts so when they reconfirm their eligibility make sure they update their working entitlement and don’t confuse it with their Tax-Free Childcare Account
• If parents experience problems with their account or application, you need to signpost them to HMRC – Telephone: 0300 123 4097
